dh-di software package provides Debhelper addon for debian-installer, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dh-di
dh-di is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dh-di package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dh-di *
You will get with dh-di package name, version, architecture and description in a table
